A children's village that draws circles

When we think of global aid projects, we often think of large organisations. But sometimes it all starts with a small, personal story. Kids of Africa is one such case. Founded in 1999, the project originated from a single letter between a young man in Uganda and his later supporter from Switzerland, Burkhard Varnholt. Today, the children's village in Uganda is home to over 100 orphans and an example of what commitment and creativity can achieve. In 2009, our agency had the great honour of taking on the communicative responsibility for this extraordinary project. Since then, we have been supporting an initiative that proves time and again that small ideas can trigger big changes.

Our approach

Fundraising is about more than just collecting donations; it's about building trust.

We have supported Kids of Africa, a children's village in Uganda, for over a decade, aiming to establish long-term relationships with donors.

During the Christmas season, we share heart-warming stories: tales of children being given new opportunities and school graduation ceremonies offering hope. These stories evoke compassion and motivate people to take concrete action.

Long-term support through transparency

We provide continuous progress reports on new school buildings, vocational training and scholarships. Our communication is open and approachable, and focused on impact. This creates bonds organically and out of conviction. Our campaigns are born out of a genuine commitment to the cause. Using emotional imagery, honest words and lovingly designed materials, we demonstrate the concrete impact of aid and explain why it is worthwhile. Modern tools simplify and clarify the donation process. Despite geographical distance, the closeness remains palpable even digitally.
