myThermoplan – The central platform for service, training and documentation

myThermoplan is the central digital service portal of Thermoplan, a global manufacturer of professional coffee machines that supplies Starbucks worldwide, among many others. The platform is aimed at service and sales partners in over 80 countries and serves as a central point of contact for technical documentation, training, warranty processing and knowledge exchange relating to Thermoplan's fully automatic machines.

Our approach

Starting point and objectives

Just two years after the original launch, Thermoplan decided to completely overhaul the existing platform. The goal was to create a more powerful, cost-efficient and technologically future-proof solution – with improved user guidance, a modern user interface and deeper integration into existing business processes.

The solution

Working closely with Thermoplan, we developed a completely new open-source platform that offers scalability, expandability and a consistent user experience.

  • Customisable dashboard: Personalised start screens for different user groups.
  • Service support: Intuitive tools to support service technicians in the field.
  • Direct warranty processing: Integrated recording and transfer of warranty claims to Thermoplan's ERP system.
  • E-learning with Moodle: Fully integrated training platform for global partner training.
  • Single sign-on: Secure and convenient login via Keycloak.
  • File server integration: Direct connection to PRO.FILE for the provision of technical documents, images and videos.

The new platform takes Thermoplan's global service and sales support to a new level. Partner companies benefit from a uniform, high-performance and user-friendly environment that combines technical information, training and service processes in a central portal. Increased efficiency through system integration and automation also contributes to long-term cost reduction.
