Orchestrating the international website rollout for KWS SAAT

We helped KWS increase operational efficiency and optimize its focus on global markets by implementing scalable website templates and supporting regional teams with customized training for optimal content management. This approach was adapted to regionally varying customer needs and thus forms an important cornerstone of the digital strategy, while strengthening business activities in international markets.

The chilli approach

Varying regional regulations, individual customer requirements and different cultivation conditions for varieties made the international website rollout to a difficult operation for the seed manufacturer KWS. From product information and service offerings to marketing campaigns and personal login area – each country has its own requirements.

To orchestrate the global website rollout, we created scalable website-templates that ensured consistent branding across all regions by analyzing system strengths and weaknesses in customer-focused workshops. These templates seamlessly adapted to various languages and cultural needs, supporting a coherent and effective global strategy.

We identified local website managers and content editors as key roles for a successful website rollout. To equip these diverse workforces for managing the local content, we crafted a comprehensive training program.

This program, which included 27 live group sessions and 49 on-demand tutorials, was designed with the understanding that employees learn at different paces and in different ways. Our intelligent content workbooks streamlined content management, enabling teams to monitor progress and localize content effectively. By tailoring the training to each stakeholder's role, we ensured everyone understood the system and their responsibilities in the rollout.
