Celebrating design quality: the global platform for award-winning design

As an essential part of a holistic digital transformation project, we aimed to create a future-proof web architecture to strengthen iF's corporate identity while improving usability and accessibility for the international audience.

To achieve this, the information architecture was carefully revised to align it with user needs and most frequent use cases, as well as the renewed technology landscape. A key focus of the project was to optimize access to the library of 70 years of award-winning design through intelligent search functionalities. This included evaluating and refining fundamental elements such as metadata, resulting in a 91% increase in SEO content and a significant improvement in accessibility.

In addition to structural updates, visual improvements were also a priority. iF's core identity was preserved but streamlined and revitalized with contemporary touches, along with an overall improved user experience. We created an intuitive and seamless navigation with fluid connections between pages via direct links to relevant or related content.

The complete redesign of the website leads to the designers being highlighted more prominently and their work being placed more in the spotlight, especially on the project detail pages. With this future-proof and scalable digital basis, iF Design is positioning itself as the central platform for innovative and outstanding design from around the world.
